As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in supporting our community event, from assisting participants to cheering them on as they run. Easterseals can provide up to 6 hours of volunteering credits.

Volunteer Attire: White T-shirt. You will be given a volunteer lanyard at check-in.

• Booth Support: Assisting in Partner's Plaza booths with distributing products to passersby. 

• Medals: Distributing medals as runners cross the finish line, cheering for their finish.

• Parking/Welcome: Greet walkers near the parking lot and general area. 

• Route: Cheering walkers and helping walkers stay on approved 3k vs 5k path.

• Pre-Registration: Greeting participants and assisting with the registration process.

• T-Shirt distribution: Work with staff on distributing shirts to each registered participant.

• Set Up: Assist staff in unloading the truck and setting up all registration materials, signs, first-aid supplies, and banners.

• Tear Down: After the walk, assist staff in loading everything back into the truck and general tear-down and cleanup of the area.  

• Water & Snacks: Distribution of water before and after the race as runners come through the finishing line. 

• Volunteer Lead: Work with staff and check-in all volunteers and provide them with their assignments and locations.

• Decor: Assist prior to the start of the event with stage decor.
